Polyroads is a South African materials-science company based in Alberton, Johannesburg. Since 2009 we've been developing polymer-based smart materials for road construction, mining and building — binders, soil stabilisers, asphalt modifiers and sealants that make roads and surfaces stronger, more flexible and more affordable to build and repair. Our technology has been used on projects across South Africa, and through our partners, in countries on four continents.
From project sites to your front gate
For most of our history, our products went straight to engineers, contractors, mines and municipalities, supplied at project scale for large road-building and rehabilitation work. But the problems we solve aren't limited to big projects: a pothole in your driveway, a crumbling farm road, dusty ground that won't stay put, concrete that needs patching or waterproofing.
That's why we opened this online store — to make the same professional-grade materials available to everyone, in practical pack sizes, with no special equipment needed. Order online and have it delivered by courier anywhere in South Africa, or collect for free from our premises in Alberton.
What you'll find here
Our range covers pothole and road repair (cold-applied asphalt you can use straight from the bag), building & bonding products like sealants, primers and bonding agents, waterproofing for roofs, dams and walls, and bulk & trade supply for contractors and larger jobs. Every product is made to the same specification we supply to industry.
