What it is

AsphalTech is a polymer-modified cold asphalt — a ready-to-use pothole patch straight from the bag. No heating, no torch, no special equipment. Clean out the hole, pour it in, compact it, done. Leave it 30 minutes, then drive on it.

The fast, no-fuss way to fix potholes in driveways, yards, parking areas, estate and farm roads, and worn patches of existing tar.

How to use it
  1. Remove loose debris and any water from in and around the hole (spade + hard brush).
  2. Square off the walls with a spade and pick — stops the patch pushing out under traffic.
  3. If dry, dampen the base and walls with a little water. For a longer-lasting bond, brush in diluted AsphalTech Bonding Primer here.
  4. Fill with AsphalTech and compact well with a hand tamper, in layers no thicker than 20–25 mm.
  5. Fill the top layer slightly raised (proud) above the surrounding surface — it settles down level under traffic. Fill it flush and it'll sink and dish inwards.
  6. Leave 30 minutes, then open to traffic.

Tip: don't repair in the rain. For a neater long-term fix, cut away damaged asphalt around the hole and patch the whole section.

You'll need (not included): hand tamper, spade, pick, hard brush, wheelbarrow, water.

Returns: 7-day cooling-off on unused, unopened items in original sealed packaging. Opened, mixed or part-used product can't be returned unless faulty. Faulty or incorrect items are covered for 6 months under the CPA.

Damaged in transit? Don't use it — email photos to shop@polyroads.com within 48 hours and we'll sort out a replacement or refund with the courier.
