Our 210 L drums are supplied on collection or against a freight quote — they are not sent by parcel courier.
A full 210 L drum weighs around 230 kg. Parcel couriers price that as an exception rather than a routine load, and the rate they quote at checkout would be far higher than what we can source for you directly. Rather than show you a bad number automatically, we quote each drum order against the actual load, destination and lead time — which nearly always comes in lower.
Two ways to get a drum
1. Free collection from Alberton
Order the drum online as normal and choose Collection at checkout. Courier options will not appear for a cart containing a drum — that is expected, not an error. We will email you as soon as it is ready.

- When: Monday to Friday, 7am – 4pm
- Bring: your order number and ID. Buzz the gate on arrival.
- Please bring a bakkie, trailer or vehicle able to take a 230 kg drum, and someone to help load. We can assist with a forklift during business hours.
2. Request a freight quote for delivery
If you need the drum delivered, email us and we will source a rate for your specific load. Drums travel best palletised on a road-freight service rather than as a parcel, and consolidating two or more drums usually brings the cost per drum down sharply.

Every one of these products is also available in 20 L jerry cans, which courier nationwide at live rates with no quote needed. If you need less than a drum, that is the quickest route.
