Shipping & Delivery Policy

We deliver across South Africa by courier, and offer free collection from our premises in Alberton.

Delivery

Orders are dispatched by courier (via Bob Go) from Johannesburg.
Delivery cost is calculated at checkout based on your order's weight, size and destination — you'll see the price before you pay.
Typical delivery is 3–5 business days to main centres; outlying areas may take longer.
Orders are processed and handed to the courier within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays).
We'll send tracking details once your order is on its way.

210 L drums — collection or freight quote only

A full 210 L drum weighs roughly 230 kg, which is not a parcel-courier item. Drums are therefore supplied in one of two ways:

Free collection from our premises in Alberton. Order the drum online and choose Collection at checkout.
Delivery against a freight quote. Email shop@polyroads.com or call +27 11 868 1181 with the product, quantity and delivery town, and we'll source a road-freight rate for your specific load. Nothing is dispatched until you have approved the quote.

Please note: if your cart contains a 210 L drum, courier options will not appear at checkout — this is expected, not an error. Collection will be the only option shown. Full detail is on our 210 L Drum Orders page.

All of these products are also available in 20 L jerry cans, which courier nationwide at live rates with no quote needed.

Other heavy & bulk orders

Many of our products are heavy (pothole bags 25 kg, SoilTech Filler 50 kg, the 5 m² Kit around 255 kg). For large or heavy orders, collection is often the most cost-effective option — choose it at checkout, or let the live courier rate quote delivery to your door. For orders larger than roughly 20 buckets or bags, please contact us for trade pricing and a shipping quote rather than ordering online.

You're welcome to collect your order from us:

Hours: Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm
On arrival: buzz the gate.
We'll email you when your order is packed and ready. Please bring your order number and ID.
For drums and other heavy items, please bring a suitable vehicle and someone to help load. We can assist with a forklift during business hours.

Handling

Our liquid products (PolySeal, PolyBond, primers) are packed to travel upright to prevent leaks and are marked handle with care. If your delivery looks damaged, please see the "Damaged in transit" section of our Refund & Returns Policy.
