What it is

PolyBond is a water-based polymer bonding and primer liquid — a derivative of our industry-leading PolySeal dam-liner elastomer. It's built to bond cement, sand, plaster and other building materials, and once cured it stays flexible (it never goes brittle) and keeps water out.

Six products in one bucket: bonding liquid, floor primer, screed additive, cement elastomer, waterproofing agent and wall sealer.

Use it on floors, screeds, brick walls, plaster, hardboard, tiled roofs and zinc roofs — interior or exterior. For very smooth surfaces, pair it with PolyTac for extra grip.

How to use it
  • As a primer: brush or roll on as-is. Touch-dry in about 30–60 minutes; it stays slightly tacky even when dry — that's normal.
  • In a mix: trowel on once mixed with plaster or aggregate.
  • On vertical walls: mix 1:1 with cement, add 10% water, paint on, let dry about 2 hours, then plaster as normal.
  • Don't apply in the rain. Once cured, the plaster can be painted with PVA or enamel.

Free collection: 3/4 Coppel Road, Alrode South, Alberton — Mon–Fri, 7am–4pm. We'll email you when your order is packed and ready.

Returns: 7-day cooling-off on unused, unopened items in original sealed packaging. Opened, mixed or part-used product can't be returned unless faulty. Faulty or incorrect items are covered for 6 months under the CPA.

Damaged in transit? Don't use it — email photos to shop@polyroads.com within 48 hours and we'll sort out a replacement or refund with the courier.
