A complete, flexible waterproofing kit that moves with your surface — and keeps sealing even if it cracks.

Covers about 4 m² per kit — enough for one leak, one damp patch or a garden pond. Larger areas need more than one kit.

Nationwide courier, typically 3–5 working days to main centres. Free collection from Alberton.

What it is

PolySeal is a polymer-elastomer waterproofing system you mix and apply yourself. Everything you need comes in the kit — the PolySeal binder, cement, geofabric reinforcement and a ClearCoat finish — so there's nothing extra to buy.

Once applied, PolySeal sets but stays permanently flexible. It never goes hard or brittle, so it moves with the surface and keeps sealing even when the surface underneath develops shrinkage cracks. It's the same product Polyroads uses on industrial dam liners, canals and reservoirs — now packaged for trade and home projects.

Use it to waterproof and seal:

  • Concrete and metal (zinc) roofs
  • Dam liners, canals and reservoirs
  • Koi ponds and water features
  • Pool repairs and water tanks
  • Walls — including sealing against acids and alkalis

It's supplied as a mix-on-site kit — PolySeal can't be sold pre-mixed because it would cure in the bucket, so you always apply a fresh, full-strength mix.

How to use it
  1. Clean and prepare the surface (sweep and hose; for new or zinc roofs, wash with diluted vinegar or Spirits of Salt).
  2. Prime cracks, joins and roof nails and bond in the geofabric.
  3. Mix PolySeal with the cement and sieve out any lumps.
  4. Brush or roll on the first coat, wait about 1 hour, then apply the second coat.
  5. Finish with the ClearCoat seal.

Drying: re-coat after about 1 hour. For ponds and dam linings, allow 3 days of full-sun curing before filling with water. Dries grey — colourants can be added to tint it.
