What it is

PolyTac is an extremely tacky elastomer that bonds to virtually any clean, oil-free surface. Use it as the primer and undercoat before PolySeal waterproofing on concrete, steel and tiled roofs; as an undercoat for dam liners; as a primer for new concrete; or as a tack coat to rejuvenate old HDPE liners before sealing.

How to use it
  1. Make sure the surface is clean, dry and completely oil-free.
  2. Dilute 1 L of PolyTac with 3 L of water.
  3. Apply the diluted mix — 1 L of concentrate covers approximately 4 m².
  4. Follow with PolySeal for the waterproofing coat.

Shipping & returns

Delivery: courier nationwide via Bob Go, dispatched from Johannesburg within 1–2 business days. Delivery cost is calculated at checkout on your order's weight and destination — you see the price before you pay. Typical delivery is 3–5 business days to main centres.

Free collection: 3/4 Coppel Road, Alrode South, Alberton — Mon–Fri, 7am–4pm. We'll email you when your order is packed and ready.

210 L drums — collection or freight quote only. A full drum is about 230 kg, which is not a parcel-courier item. Courier options will not appear at checkout for a cart containing a drum; choose collection, or email shop@polyroads.com for a freight quote and we'll source a proper rate for your load before anything ships. Returns: 7-day cooling-off on unused, unopened items in original sealed packaging. Opened, mixed or part-used product can't be returned unless faulty. Faulty or incorrect items are covered for 6 months under the CPA.

Damaged in transit? Don't use it — email photos to shop@polyroads.com within 48 hours and we'll sort out a replacement or refund with the courier.
